A Self-Pay Practice

Good News Naturopathic Clinic does not bill insurance. Paying directly lets Dr. Ahn spend real time with you, choose the lab tests that fit your case, and build a plan around what you need, not what a plan will cover. On request, we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We do not accept Medicaid, and Medicare does not cover naturopathic medicine.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA. Office visits and many functional lab tests are eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement.

How Care Works, Step by Step

Step 1 — Eye-Opening Session (30 min)

A focused introductory visit for prospective new patients. Dr. Ahn listens to your story and gives you an honest opinion on whether her root-cause approach is likely to help.

  • One-on-one time with Dr. Ahn
  • An honest discussion of whether functional medicine is a good fit for you
  • Recommended next steps, including which lab tests may be most useful
  • Answers to your questions about how care works at our clinic
  • The fee is credited toward your New Patient Consultation if you move forward

Step 2 — New Patient Consultation (60–90 min)

The foundation of your care. Dr. Ahn looks at your full health picture rather than isolated symptoms.

  • In-depth review of your medical history, diet, sleep, stress and environment, including mold and toxin exposures
  • Review of your existing blood work and any prior testing
  • A physical exam when it is needed
  • Selection of the functional lab tests that will answer your questions, from the labs best suited to your case

Before you arrive: please complete your new patient intake forms in the Patient Portal and upload any recent blood work, imaging reports or specialist notes.

Step 3 — Lab Testing

Most functional lab kits are shipped to your home, completed at your convenience and mailed back to the lab. Conventional blood work can be added when needed. Dr. Ahn reviews all of your results before your next visit.

Step 4 — Results Review Visit (90 min)

We go through your results together, explain what is driving your symptoms, and build a step-by-step plan, which may include diet, targeted supplements, detox support and reducing environmental exposures.

Step 5 — Ongoing Care

Complex, long-standing conditions take time to turn around. Most patients follow a plan of one to two years, with steady adjustments as their health improves.

  • Regular follow-up visits to track progress and adjust your protocol
  • A personalized monthly supplement pack, which Dr. Ahn reviews and updates every month, shipped to your door
  • Re-testing when it helps measure progress
  • Continued support and accountability on your healing journey
